Attending Texas Tech University was second nature as I grew up visiting my sister and listening to my mom tell me "when I was here..." Lubbock always felt at home and was one of the easiest and best decisions I have ever made. My surrounding West Texas community is so special as well as all of the instructors and faculty that make up this university.

I have strived to be involved and make an impact in my college community while maintaining a high level of scholarship. I wish I could have another 10 years at Texas Tech but I am thankful for the 3 1/2 I have had.
Over the course of the past three and a half years, I have been fortunate to be the recipient of several scholarships. These generous awards have afforded me the privilege of wholeheartedly committing myself to my academic pursuits and coursework. It is extremely gratifying that a significant portion of these scholarships have been merit-based, recognizing the diligent effort I have invested in my educational journey.
