Hey, I'm Rebecca!
So happy you're here! A little about me,
I am a proud recent graduate of Texas Tech University and received a degree in Public Relations. Since my graduation in December 2023 I have taken up work as an event, public relations and social media independent contractor. I am passionate about pursuing a career that I am passionate about.
If caught in conversation, you can will most likely find me expressing my enthusiasm for food, fashion and travel. With passion for these fields, I am aspiring to work in these industries. I have been passionate about food since receiving as easy Bake Oven in kindergarten and even went on to compete and win a Kids Baking Show on the Food Network. My time spent filming was my first airplane ride and real vacation and it began my love for travel. Fashion has always been a huge part of my identity and my mom's Facebook profile is sure to prove that.
I define myself as a tireless worker that is driven by challenge, purpose and passion. I have been actively involved in my college community and held jobs that helped me develop my communication skills for the past three years at Tech. In my educational and professional journey, I have discovered I excel in places that offer challenge as a part of their culture. For me, these environments are not just a setting for career growth, but they stimulate passion and ignite potential.
One of the defining aspects of my career has been my ability to embrace and conquer challenges with unwavering enthusiasm. I firmly believe that challenges are opportunities in disguise, and my track record demonstrates my dedication to turning these opportunities into achievements.
While challenge drives my day to day, I have discovered that my true potential is unlocked when I feel a deep sense of purpose in the type of work I am performing. My motivation is peaked when I know that my contributions are not just a means to an end but are going to make a meaningful impact to the work or on those I am surrounded by.
My professional life has been guided by a strong sense of purpose, and it has been the driving force behind my accomplishments. Whether it's been in roles focused on customer relationships, media planning, creative strategy, or event organization. I've consistently sought opportunities that I find purpose in and allow me to contribute to a picture bigger than just a project or assignment.
Passion is the overall driving force that fuels my need for challenge and purpose. I firmly believe that when we wholeheartedly embrace our work, exceptional results are bound to follow. Throughout my career, I've consistently channeled my enthusiasm and determination into every task, project, and role, leading to impressive achievements and personal fulfillment.
Working in an area I'm passionate about is a nonnegotiable factor in my future career. I do not wish for a future in which it is just about doing a job. I want to pursue a career that resonates deeply with my interests and values and in which I cannot wait for each day and the chance to challenge myself with work with I find great purpose in.
